Mustang is located near two major interstate highways, I-44 and I-40. State Highway 152 connects Mustang to I-44 and was recently re-aligned as a 4 lane divided highway from 1-44 to County Line Road. State Highway 4 connects Mustang to I-40, Route 66 and Piedmont to the north and to the H. E. Bailey Turnpike (1-44) and Norman to the south. 

The abundance of highways and an efficient street grid make getting around the metro very easy. In fact the U.S. Census Bureau recently ranked Oklahoma City’s commutes the third-lowest in the country at 21.35 minutes one-way on average, ranking only behind Rochester and Buffalo-Niagara Falls. 

Will Rogers World Airport is the largest airport in Oklahoma and has undergone two multi-million dollar renovations in the last seven years. Six commercial carriers serve Will Rogers with an average of 75 daily departures to 19 nonstop destinations. American, Continental/ United, Delta, Southwest, and Frontier currently service WRWA.  Total traffic for 2010 was 3,466,127, a 2.41% increase from 2009.

Wiley Post Airport, is a reliever airport located in Northwest Oklahoma City, functions as a major center for corporate and business aviation. Clarence E. Page Airport in El Reno is a general aviation facilty for grass roots aviators and the general public. 

Mustang is only 20 minutes away from the Downtown Amtrack Station with service to Fort Worth. The Heartland Flyer is a relaxing alternative to driving. From Fort Worth, numerous connections can be made to destinations around the country
