The Mustang Public Library strives to serve the educational and recreational needs of the community in a friendly and professional manner. The Library is located on the South end of the Mustang Town Center and provides computer workstations equipped with the Microsoft Office Professional software, broadband internet access, Wi-Fi access, books, music CDs, movies, newspapers, magazines, and educational programming for all ages.

The Library offers free computer classes for adults, a monthly book club, garden club, author presentations, story times, baby lap times, and teen events.

The Library is the homework connection for children and teens. There are a variety of materials to help young people with school assignments as well as Accelerated Reader Lists for area schools so young customers can keep up with their AR Points.

The Friends of the Mustang Public Library raise funds to provide extras for the Library. Headed by President Carolyn Klepper, the Friends of the Mustang Public Library purchase materials, equipment, software and programs for the Library. They have established a permanent endowment with the Oklahoma City Community Foundation to support the Summer Reading Program.
