Mustang Mustang Public School Summer Camp Opportunities

If you're thinking about summer plans, Mustang Bronco Athletics programs are offering a variety of camps:
• Boys Basketball Head Coach Alan Green and the MHS basketball team and staff will provide instruction on basketball fundamentals for boys in grades 1-9 and each camper will receive a t-shirt and basketball. This year's camp will be June 1-4 at the Mustang High School gymnasium and in the MHS Wellness Center.
• Girls Head Coach Nikki McCann and the Lady Bronco basketball team and staff will host their basketball camp June 11-14 for young women in grades K-9. The camp is designed to teach offensive and defensive fundamentals of basketball. All campers will receive a t-shirt and basketball.
• Head Baseball Coach Scott Selby has announced the dates for the Bronco baseball camp. This year's camp will be divided into two sessions, and will feature instruction from coaches and Bronco baseball players for boys in grades 1-9.
Camp 1: Pitching Camp, June 8-9, 9-11 a.m.
Camp 2: Hitting, Fielding and Base Running Camp, June 11-15, 9-11 a.m.
• Soccer enthusiasts are invited to join Head Coach Jared Homer and Bronco boys and girls soccer players for their annual camp. Area boys and girls ages 5-12 may attend camp on June 18-20, from 9-11:30 a.m. Campers will receive a t-shirt and water bottle.

April 24th, 2012 Mustang Elementary fundraiser.
Come out between 5-9pm and these groups receive 10% of sales on their respective nights.

Help A Teacher Out!
Teachers at public schools across the OGE Energy Corp. service area are eligible to apply for a grant up to $1,000 to fund creative projects focusing on math, science and reading.

Golfing at the Lake
Friends of the Mustang Public Library will host their 12th Annual Golf Tournament Friday June 22nd 2012 at Lake Hefner South Golf Course. The main event will be the $10,000 Hole In One Contest! Sign up for Four Man Scramble and get all the details here

Lisa LeGrand has informed me that Mustang Middle School is in desperate need of Test Monitors beginning April 10th. They will especially be needing the Test Monitors April 16th-19th. The hours will be during the a.m. classes and you would need to arrive between 8-815am and will be there until Noon.
