Hospitals
INTEGRIS Canadian Valley Hospital opened as a general acute care facility on Nov. 9, 2001. The hospital had been in the planning stages for several years and opened to wide support from the local and surrounding communities. Canadian County is one of the faster growing areas of Oklahoma. The community of Yukon, Okla., was the only community of its size that could not claim hospital ownership or having been served by its own local community hospital. This $62 million dollar project for INTEGRIS Health is considered to be one of the most state-of-the-art health care facilities in the state of Oklahoma.

The facility consists of approximately 173,000 square feet and includes 75 inpatient beds as well as a medical office building. The hospital has 57 private medical surgical rooms, a 10-bed women’s unit and a newly constructed 8-bed intensive care unit. The intensive care unit opened in May 2005 as a project funded through federal appropriation dollars and local hospital foundation contributions.
