Friends of the Library Chocolate Festival
The Friends of the Mustang Public Library invite local clubs, businesses, and even individuals to whip up their best chocolate creations! The chocoholics in Mustang will be judge of best tasting and most elaborate table. There is a limited number of tables available; so, please make your reservations early, register here! Attendees can get six tastes for $8, boxes and ribbon will be available for V-Day gifts. The event takes place February 11 from 6-8.

Highly decorated former general to speak at the Town Center
Major General (USAF Retired) LaRita Aragon , now the Oklahoma Secretary of Veterans Affairs, will be the guest speaker at the meeting of the American Legion Post 353 at 7 p.m., Thursday, February 9, at the Mustang Community Center.
Valir Physical Therapy Biometric Screening
At the end of March Valir will be offering a free biometric screening for anyone around the Mustang community. This is a great service to the community and a great way to learn about Valir and their services. This screening will give those attending: total cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, and their BMI. Women 4 Success at Willowwood

Mustang Valley Students Need You
The school is in need of test proctors to help maintain the integrity of testing materials and assist the teachers in administering the tests. Nine proctors are needed on the 21st and the 22nd from 8:00am-11:30am with snacks provided. Please contact Lesha Taylor at 324-4865 if you can help!
Grow Your Business with a Grant
The Oklahoma STEP Forward Enhancement Fund is part of the State Trade and Export Promotion (STEP) Grant Program which is an export promotion initiative to make matching-fund grants for states to assist “eligible small business concerns”. The intent of this program is to increase the number of small businesses that are exporting, and to increase the value of exports for those small businesses that are currently exporting. This grant is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) under the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010, Section 1207.
