We invite you to join us as we celebrate Christmas with our traditional special Holiday luncheon that includes Holiday entertainment provided by Mustang High School Students and a delicious meal from LD’s Specialties & Gourmet Café. LaDonna will be providing Grilled Pork Tenderloin, Almond Green Beans, Cheesy Potato Casserole, and a special dessert. Register here.
Bake Sale
We had an amazing Bake Sale on Thursday! With 74 of the most exquisitely baked goods on display which I am hearing were as tasty and delicious as they looked! Thank you to everyone who took the time to bake something for this annual end of year fundraiser. A BIG thanks goes to those who also purchased items. The Bake Sale brought in $5485.00. Our Big Spender was Dr. Richard Tate of Tate Publishing Enterprises who purchased Christy Tate’s Famous Homemade Cookies for $2,000! Dr. Tate says they are the best cookies in town and we sure appreciate him hanging in there with some pretty competitive bidding!

Welcome to New Mustang Chamber Board Member

Mustang Chamber Roads & Legislation Business Incentive Guest Speaker
Tuesday December 13th in the conference room behind Council Chambers. Every member is invited to attend or send a representative to attend this meeting, especially those considering a Business Expansion project in the near future! Martin Roberts Business Customer Services Director Oklahoma Department of Commerce will be providing a presentation on a Business Expansion Incentive provided by the legislature of our State. This program provides a creative financing model called “Pooled Finance”. At the moment only one City in our State is taking advantage of this and if this could benefit any business in our City or Chamber we want to help you participate in it!
New Water List
A marketing tool that is available to all Mustang Chamber Members. This is a list of all homes and businesses that signed up for new water service with the City of Mustang and is the only measure of who is new to our community. Many of our members like to send welcome letters and offer discounts to the newcomers as a way of introducing the services and goods they have available. Just contact Becky at bjulian@mustangchamber.com to be added to the list.
Membership Billing
The board has instituted some policies that will make the billing system for our chamber run more smoothly. The first change you may have already noticed is that we are sending statements for the first time. You can expect to see these statements dated for the last day of each month. You will continue to receive invoices for each event you are billed for and then you will also receive the statement as a reminder or recap of the past months activity. Membership billing in the past has always been 3 months prior to your membership due date so we could be in compliance with our BlueCross/BlueShield contract. We now have software that enables us to identify those chamber members who are participating in the health insurance program and beginning this month only those members will be invoiced 3 months in advance. All other Chamber members will be invoiced 30 days prior to their membership due date. Membership dues are always due on the 1st day of that month. You will receive a statement at the end of the month along with a cancelation verification letter and invitation to participate in an exit survey if payment has not been received.
Mustang Chamber Board of Directors Adopts Support for the State Chamber’s Key Legislative Issues

From time to time you will see alerts to let you know when your participation is welcome to support these issues as they advance or stall through the Legislative Process.
