Mustang's churches range from megachurches (those with attendance of 1,000 and above) to very small congregations. But each has a place in meeting the spiritual needs of people not only in Mustang, but in the surrounding areas as well. Long before the City of Mustang was founded, its community of faith was already established. The earliest places of worship were primitive wooden church buildings that were shared by everyone, regardless of religious affiliations or beliefs; they were more than just churches they were community gathering places.
