Every member is invited to attend or send a representative to attend this meeting, especially those considering a Business Expansion project in the near future! Martin Roberts Business Customer Services Director Oklahoma Department of Commerce will be providing a presentation on a Business Expansion Incentive provided by the legislature of our State. This program provides a creative financing model called “Pooled Finance”. At the moment only one City in our State is taking advantage of this and if this could benefit any business in our City or Chamber we want to help you participate in it!

New Water List
A marketing tool that is available to all Mustang Chamber Members. This is a list of all homes and businesses that signed up for new water service with the City of Mustang and is the only measure of who is new to our community. Many of our members like to send welcome letters and offer discounts to the newcomers as a way of introducing the services and goods they have available. Just contact Becky at bjulian@mustangchamber.com to be added to the list.

Membership Billing
The board has instituted some policies that will make the billing system for our chamber run more smoothly. The first change you may have already noticed is that we are sending statements for the first time. You can expect to see these statements dated for the last day of each month. You will continue to receive invoices for each event you are billed for and then you will also receive the statement as a reminder or recap of the past months activity. Membership billing in the past has always been 3 months prior to your membership due date so we could be in compliance with our BlueCross/BlueShield contract. We now have software that enables us to identify those chamber members who are participating in the health insurance program and beginning this month only those members will be invoiced 3 months in advance. All other Chamber members will be invoiced 30 days prior to their membership due date. Membership dues are always due on the 1st day of that month. You will receive a statement at the end of the month along with a cancelation verification letter and invitation to participate in an exit survey if payment has not been received.

Mustang Chamber Board of Directors Adopts Support for the State Chamber’s Key Legislative Issues
In accordance with the Mustang Chamber Mission Statement “The Chamber’s mission is to advance the business interest in the Mustang region by providing quality and prosperity through advocacy and services.” The Mustang Chamber Board of Director’s have taken a stand in support of business by adopting support of the State Chamber’s Key Legislative Issues. From time to time you will see alerts to let you know when your participation is welcome to support these issues as they advance or stall through the Legislative Process.

*Setting up and decorating the Christmas tree in the "Santa" area. (Also need anicearm chair for Santa to sit in while talking to the children)
*Setting up the tables that will be used for the food, drinks, desserts, children's arts and crafts, and the door prizes. (They are having 2 different serving lines)
*Putting up any other Christmas decor the Armory has.

*We will be setting out the door prizes, many will be put at each place setting.

*Setting up place settings on the dining tables.

*Assist families with small children to their tables. Please just take their plates and drinks, do not try to take the child.

*Ensure all beverages stay full during the dinner. Get anything they ask for if possible, we want them to relax and enjoy themselves.

*Once Santa makes his entrance, things will then be more relaxed. The Kiwanis’s have asked for some of the youth to help with the arts and crafts table and corralling the children as they wait for their turn with the jolly elf.

*We need to make sure the tables are cleared as they complete their meals, so that clean up can go quickly, but allow them to socialize all they want. Continue to fill their glasses until they say stop.

*In the kitchen, during the event, we will need some people to assist in taking out the trash and whatever else staff asks. They will handle the food, but we can help in other ways as directed.

*The event is scheduled to conclude at 14:00, (2:00 pm), once it is over we will need to get all tablecloths thrown out, the tables and chairs put up, the floor swept and mopped as quickly as possible.
*Some of the decor will stay up because they are having another event soon.

*Please remember to be flexible, this is the first time Mandy has done this and she will need smiling faces and willing hands.

*Dress code is holiday business. For ladies, heels are not advised as the floor is
	cement!

Thank you for your willingness to help. Let's let the soldiers and family members see that Mustang cares about them!

With your help, this can be one of the best Christmas memories that many of these families may have.

Show up at the Armed Forces Reserve Center (south end of Cedar Springs Road which runs south only from State Highway 152 about half way between Morgan Road and Sara Road. There is the Cosby Ranch building to the west of the road and Mike Hales Car lot on the east side.)
It is an exciting and vibrant representation of the Mustang Chamber Members and City of Mustang. On this website you will find the answers to the most frequently asked questions our chamber receives! Some links may not be live just yet, so just have confidence and faith that we know it and are working on it and that very soon the most current information will exist.

Check us out at www.mustangchamber.com and tell us what you think! Help us with the housekeeping by checking out your company’s listing in the directory-make sure it is under the correct heading and that all of your information is accurate. If you would like to see your email in your directory listing, please let us know that and any other changes. Is there something we totally left off the website that you feel should be there? We want to hear about it! Links aren’t working? Don’t worry we are working on them all this week, just think of the exciting information these links will soon provide for us.

This website has incredible capacity and flexibility!
"I would like to nominate Crystal Jopling, she has been with chicken express for over a year. Not only is she an amazing employee, but an amazing mother of five. She has never showed up late. Crystal is an outstanding employee, shows leadership skills. Crystal instills God, family, then work into her children. As hard as it is to find amazing employees, I wanted the chamber to know and hopefully recognize Crystal as this month's employee of the month."
